Richard Lander Expedition

Please visit their website, its a truly amazing story.

It takes real spirit to volunteer for a 800km canoe journey down the river Niger, especially when you are two young women from London!

Emily and Megan Lander with the Police Expedition Society will retrace the steps of their great grandfather Richard Lander who made the journey 170 years ago.

And if you were thinking it's cool out there at this time of year think again, its over 90 degrees farenheight continually!

August bank Holiday

The Marine Warehouse are proud to have helped a new team for the mumbles raft race - the 'Faram Flyers'. The team can be seen opposite charging for the finish.

A fantastic effort by all involved for a worthwhile cause, and thankfully the rafting vests we supplied weren't used in anger! (Although the mumbles lifeboat was busy all evening fishing sunken rafters from the sea!)

The Marine Warehouse launch their new online store, customers are now able to order lifejackets online through an automated system. This new life jacket store has been developed alongside the existing website, to provide an authority for all to view.

US Life jacket Law

The US Coast Guard is implementing a new rule requiring that all children under 13 years of age wear Coast Guard approved life jackets while aboard recreational vessels underway, except when the children are below decks or in an enclosed cabin.
