Meets the guidlines of the British Rowing Associations Row Safe program, race numbers can be pinned to the webbing at the rear of the jacket.

Many gas lifejackets feature hard harness type webbing and stainless buckles, features which are unnecessary on a rowing lifejacket. The Superlight Race 150N features soft navy cordura fabric with a smart embroidered logo, soft webbing and a quick release 'one click' abs plastic buckle which makes it light and comfortable even when worn with light summer clothing!

This 'Superlight Race' rowing lifejacket weighs in at just 640g. It will set the standard for rowing lifejackets in schools, universities and rowing clubs across the UK. It meets the guidlines of the British Rowing Associations Row Safe program, and race numbers can be pinned to the webbing at the rear of the jacket.

It offers manual inflation, via a pull toggle, through the very latest British UML-5 inflation system. It has a 33g CO2 cylinder, plus the facility to inflate or top up air via an oral inflation tube. Because you have to pull the toggle to inflate the jacket it will not fire in wet conditions, even when completely submersed in water.

Designed to be comfortable to wear, it features a high cut which allows good freedom of movement for rowing, coxing or rescue boat use.

With 150 Newton’s of buoyancy the Superlight Race 150N Rowing lifejacket conforms to European standard EN 396. Officially classed as a lifejacket because it turns you into the upright position once in the water. This lifejacket is recommended for use inshore and coastal use and can also support the user even in foul weather clothing. It can be used in either a fresh or saltwater environment.
