It has 3M reflective tape panels on the front and a brand new reflective thread sewn into the seams of the jacket - this allows the wearer added visibility when docking in port etc . For comfort it has a neoprene collar.

Features an integral CE approved Deck harness with stainless buckles and D ring for attaching a lifeline. The Bluewave lifejacket  features soft cordura fabric.

It offers automatic inflation, through the Hammar M1A1 hydrostatic inflation system, it can also be inflated via a pull toggle. This inflator provides improved performance in very heavy conditions, making it ideal for use on a rib or on deck in heavy weather. It has a 33g CO2 cylinder, plus the facility to inflate or top up air via an oral inflation tube. It will inflate automatically when completely submersed in water.

Designed to be comfortable to wear, it features a high cut which allows good freedom of movement active boat use.

With 150 Newton’s of buoyancy the Bluewave Automatic Lifejacket conforms to European standard EN 396. Officially classed as a lifejacket because it turns you into the upright position once in the water. This lifejacket is recommended for use inshore and coastal use and can also support the user even in foul weather clothing. It can be used in either a fresh or saltwater environment.
