Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted by Barclays Bank PLC, within the software when the order is placed. Marine Warehouse does not have access to your card details and they are not stored electronically or otherwise. Marine Warehouse are registered and operate to the latest PCMCI standards.
Making A Purchase
Our order process explained
1 Order your life jackets online, and you will receive an automated response confirming your order has been received.
2 We will process your payment, confirm your order has been shipped and advise when you can expect delivery, within 24 hours.
3 Your order will arrive in perfect condition as we carefully package for transit.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
These Terms and Conditions regulate the legal relationship between yourself and us. These Terms shall not be altered, modified or varied unless expressly agreed in writing by both parties, your statutory rights are unaffected. By using our website you accept that any contract will be governed by the law of England and Wales. You must be 18 years of age or older to order, we are not prepared to contract with anyone under that age.
Automatic emails confirming receipt of your order do not constitute acceptance by The Marine Warehouse. Your Order is an Offer to buy Goods from us. A Contract for the Sale of Goods shall only arise on the despatch of our written confirmation that your order has passed 'final authorisation' or the despatch of the Goods to you, whichever is earlier.
We reserve the right to collect outstanding balances by card on exchanges that remain unreturned.
We also reserve the right to cancel any order where a pricing error has occurred. In these cases we will contact you to notify you of the variation and you have the right either to proceed at the amended price or cancel.
Lifejackets require daily maintenance and checks as per the instructions provided with your purchase. Purchasers agree to carry out these checks and absolve The Marine Warehouse of any claims arising as a result of them not being carried out.

You may not reproduce, create derivative works from, republish, upload, post, transmit, use on any other web site or transmit or distribute in any way whatsoever any content from any website owned and operated by The Marine Warehouse Ltd without our prior written permission.
Should you choose not to seek written permission and use our images, we reserve the right to recover damages for breach of copyright.
Shipping And Handling
We charge a flat rate for shipping within most parts of mainland UK or FREE - for any number of lifejackets!
We do not charge extra for orders to Highlands, Islands, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern and Southern Ireland! Customers in the remoter parts of Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland, and all the outlying islands of the UK including the Channel Islands can expect to receive their order after 3-4 working days.
In most cases a signature is required by the courier. Saturday, Sunday, International and timed deliveries are available for a small additional charge. Our products are carefully packaged for transit, and will arrive in perfect condition.
A small order charge of £2.99 applies for orders of less than £20, this purely covers postage and packing.
Back Orders
If in a rare case an item is out of stock we will email you immediately. You will then have an option to wait the specified lead time or cancel. We will keep you informed should you decide to wait. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.
Guarantee
All our products are guaranteed for at least 12 months from the date of purchase against manufacturing faults.

Returns Policy Consumer Orders
The Marine Warehouse believe that sizing and buying by mail order should be worry free.
Order with confidence, we offer a no quibble return guarantee - Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order and should you not be satisfied in any way we will replace or refund your item.*
* We do not refund or exchange clearance items, unless of course they are faulty or misdescribed.
Our stock of gas lifejackets is strictly controlled, once they have been outside of our controlled environment we reserve the right to charge a test fee before restocking.
It is not our policy to collect returns, goods must be returned at the purchasers expense. Returned items must be in re-saleable condition. Garments that smell of smoke will not be accepted for return.
Returns Policy Commercial Orders
Commercial sales are considered final when delivered, no returns will be accepted. In exceptional circumstances we may approve returns, which will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Service Collection and Return
Where a customer utilises our UK courier collection and return service Marine Warehouse's liability shall be limited to £100+vat per box, regardless of the value of the contents.
Remittance Terms
The Marine Warehouse do not charge a surcharge for customers paying with credit or debit cards. The advertised price includes any such charges.
Export orders must be fully paid up in advance. Where payment is made by bank wire transfer, this must be 'all bank charges paid' by the sender.
Should you fail to pay for service work within payment terms, we reserve the right to dispose of the equipment to recoup the balance due.
